This 120-Volt AC/DC hardwired photoelectric smoke alarm offers timesaving installation features, value and quality. Photoelectric smoke alarms are typically more effective at detecting slow smoldering fires, fires which burn for hours before bursting into flame. Microprocessor intelligence provides superior nuisance alarm resistance. Drift compensation feature allows alarm to auto adjust sensitivity if the photoelectric chamber becomes dirty over time. A product end-of-service life warning sounds when it is time to replace alarm. for added security, tamper-resistant locking feature prevents unwanted battery or alarm removal. Replace battery without removing alarm from bracket. One 9-volt alkaline battery (included) continues protection in the event of a power outage. The patented Quick Find alarm location feature easily identifies first alarm to sound. The Auto sensitivity calibration feature prevents nuisance alarms and provides consistency in alarm sensitivity.
